Home/Work/Google SEO

Google SEO

Ranking is downstream of two things: a site Google can read easily, and pages that answer what people actually typed. We work on both, in that order.

One of the areas we are asked for most — not the limit of what we take on.

Everything else we handle

The work

Fix the foundations before buying content.

A surprising share of SEO problems are mechanical: pages that load too slowly on a phone, duplicate URLs competing with each other, a sitemap listing pages that no longer exist, headings that describe nothing, a Google Business Profile with the wrong hours. None of that needs a monthly content budget to fix, and it is usually where the fastest gains are.

Once the site is technically sound, we work on the two things that actually decide local rankings: the strength and consistency of your business listing, and whether you have a page that genuinely answers each query you want to win. That means fewer, better pages — not thirty thin articles written to a word count.

Local search, specifically

For businesses serving a geographic area, the map pack matters more than the blue links below it. We optimise the Google Business Profile properly — categories, service areas, hours, photos, products, Q&A — clean up inconsistent name, address and phone citations across directories, and put a review request into your existing customer follow-up so the flow is steady rather than sporadic.

Reporting you can actually read

Each month you get one short document: the queries you gained, the ones you lost, calls and form fills from search, what we changed, and what is next. No fifty-page PDF of exported charts. If a number moved the wrong way, it is in there with an explanation.

Included as standard

  • Full technical audit with prioritised fix list
  • Core Web Vitals and mobile usability work
  • Schema markup and indexation cleanup
  • Keyword and competitor research grounded in your actual queries
  • On-page optimisation of money pages
  • Google Business Profile management
  • Citation cleanup and review generation
  • Content plan, and drafting if you want it
  • Monthly report and a call to walk through it

What we will not do

Buy links, spin content, stuff keywords, or promise a position. Those tactics work briefly and then cost more to undo than they ever earned. If a competitor is outranking you that way, the durable answer is still to be genuinely more useful for the query.

How it goes

An honest timeline.

Month 1

Audit and fix

Technical problems found and cleared, tracking verified, baseline recorded so later claims can be checked against something.

Month 1–2

Local signals

Business Profile rebuilt, citations corrected, reviews flowing. This is where local businesses typically see the first movement.

Month 2–4

Pages that answer

Service and location pages written or rewritten against real queries, then internally linked so authority reaches them.

Month 3–6

Compound

Competitive terms start to move. We keep pruning what underperforms and expanding what works, and report both.

Questions

What clients ask about SEO.

Can you guarantee we rank number one?

No, and neither can anyone else — Google does not sell placement in organic results and its ranking systems change constantly. What we can commit to is the work: the fixes, the pages, the profile, and a report showing what moved. If those do not produce results over six months, you should stop paying us.

How long is the commitment?

Month to month, 30 days' notice. We do ask you to plan for at least six months, because meaningful organic movement rarely happens faster — but that is advice, not a contract term.

Does AI-generated content still work for SEO?

Content that is genuinely useful ranks regardless of how it was produced; content generated to fill a quota does not, and increasingly gets filtered. We use AI where it helps us draft faster from real source material — your expertise, your data, your customer questions — and never as a substitute for having something to say.

What if we already have an agency?

We are happy to do a one-off audit and tell you plainly whether the work being done is sound. Sometimes it is, and we will say so. That audit is a fixed fee with no obligation to move anything.
