Home/About

Broad on purpose. Small on purpose.

Ozriel LLC is a general IT consultancy in Austin, Texas. We work across the whole stack rather than one slice of it, and we stay small enough that the people who scope your work are the people who do it.

Who we are

Built by people who have to maintain what they ship.

Ozriel started from a familiar frustration: businesses were paying for technology that nobody had bothered to fit to how they actually worked. A CRM nobody opened. A website that looked fine and converted nothing. An AI pilot that impressed a boardroom and died three weeks later. A network outage that three separate vendors each blamed on the other two.

The common thread was distance — the people selling the work were never the people living with it, and nobody was looking at the whole picture. So we built the opposite. Whoever scopes your project writes the code, sits in the handover, and answers the email eighteen months later when something needs changing.

Why generalists

The industry would rather sell you four specialists and a project manager to coordinate them. But most businesses do not have four separate problems — they have one tangled situation in which the website, the phone system, the file server, the CRM and whoever configured it all in 2014 are related. Being able to look at all of it is usually what makes the fix possible.

So the honest description of what we do is: IT. Networks, cloud, software, security, data, AI, web, search, hardware, and a long tail of jobs with no tidy label. Four of those have their own pages because they are what people search for by name, not because the rest is off the table.

What that changes in practice

It makes us conservative in the right places. We will talk you out of a rebuild when a repair is cheaper. We will tell you when an AI model is the wrong tool and a scheduled script is the right one. And we scope in writing, at a fixed price, because we are the ones who have to deliver it.

Breadth is not the same as pretending. When a job genuinely needs a specialist — deep compliance audit work, heavy industrial control systems, litigation-grade forensics — we say so and help you find one. If your project needs a team of fifteen and a project manager, we are not that either.

Where we work

We are based in Austin and go on-site across Central Texas — offices, clinics, shops, warehouses. Everything else we do remotely, for clients across the United States. Time zone has never been the hard part; being reachable is.

How we work

Four rules we do not bend.

They cost us work occasionally. They are also why clients stay.

Rule 01

You own it

Domains, hosting, code, analytics and AI accounts are registered to you from day one. Leaving is a formality, not a negotiation.

Rule 02

Price before work

A written, fixed number goes out before anything is built. If scope grows, we quote the change and you decide.

Rule 03

No jargon shields

Every recommendation gets explained in language you can repeat to your team. If we cannot do that, we do not understand it well enough yet.

Rule 04

Boring where it counts

We pick well-supported, widely-known tools for the things that must not break. Novelty goes where the upside justifies it.
